Cablevision Adds TNT in HD to Industry Leading High-Definition Line-Up

TNT In HD Marks 21st High-Definition Programming Service Available To iO® Digital Cable Customers At No Additional Cost

BETHPAGE, N.Y., July 26, 2006 — Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE: CVC) and Turner Network Television (TNT) announced today that the high-definition feed of TNT is now available to all iO: Interactive Optimum® digital cable customers throughout Cablevision’s New York metropolitan service area. The 24/7 high-definition presentation of the TNT East Coast feed offers iO customers an incredible array of dramatic programming in HD format, including TNT Originals, series, movies and sports.

Located on channel 737, TNT in HD is broadcast in 1080i 24 hours a day and uses Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound for all programming and promotional content. In addition, TNT in HD presents all of its programming, including commercials, in 16:9 wide-screen, giving viewers a consistent viewing experience.

As of March 31, Cablevision had nearly 400,000 high-definition customers across its entire service area, up 22 percent from December 2005 and 125 percent from the previous year. iO customers with high-definition set-top boxes have access to the following high-definition programming services: WABC-TV New York, WCBS-TV New York, WNBC New York, WNET Thirteen (PBS), WPIX (WB11), WNYW-5 (FOX), TNT, MSG Network, FSN New York, YES Network, ESPN, live coverage of New York Mets’ home games through SportsNet New York, Universal HD, HBO, SHOWTIME, Cinemax, STARZ!, The Movie Channel, iN DEMAND’S INHD, INHD2 and the industry’s first high-definition video on demand offering, featuring new release movies and unique titles originally seen in IMAX® theaters.

For iO customers with high-definition television sets, Cablevision offers HD-capable converter boxes at no additional cost over the standard box rental fee. High-definition feeds of premium movie networks are available to all customers who subscribe to the standard-definition version of the networks. High-definition video on demand movie titles are available anytime for $4.95 each, which includes full control over the viewing experience with the ability to pause, fast-forward and rewind.

With more than 2.1 million iO customers, more than 70 percent of Cablevision’s cable customers are iO digital cable customers, the highest digital penetration in the nation. iO offers customers access to more than 230 channels, including 50 premium movie channels, 45 channels of commercial-free digital music, more than 1,400 titles available on demand at all times, an interactive programming guide, 21 high-definition programming services and groundbreaking interactive television applications including subscription games packages.
