Summary: Reasonable Unit, but I returned it.
Comment: Mine arrived scratched deeply into the protective film. I'm not entirely sure if those scratches made it through to the screen, but I wasn't about to find out with Amazon's generous return policy. The tuner found many digital stations in the area quite well. Most complaints about reception on this unit are by folk who don't hook up the antenna properly or place it strategically. We live in a metal-sided home, so I placed it near a 2nd story window and had many stations.
The USB host wouldn't browse my external USB drive. It seems to require only a stick-type USB drive. Not necessarily a defect at all--just something to know.
The remote worked well. The battery worked, but I can't comment about battery life.
I have a smaller Lenovo "laptot" so this seemed superfluous. Not being able to browse my external drives via USB was the killer for me.
Nice unit, but nothing your PC doesn't already do better with a small USB TV tuner plugged into your jack.

Comment: I bought this little tv so I could drag it around the house to listen to (more than watch) tv while working on various projects. It works great for that. The sound isn't the greatest, but I didn't really expect it to be on an itty-bitty tv like that. The picture seems great for it's size. I had it out of the box and up and running within minutes, without using the directions, so I thought set-up was a cinch. I can't really comment on the battery life, I haven't really used it unplugged yet. For my needs, and for the price, I'm happy with the purchase.

Summary: should have been on the USED shelf
Comment: When I purchase something new, I expect it to be new. Box previously opened like from a wal-mart shelf. Plastic screen cover had been removed, wires poorly folded back into zip-lock bags. Who ever used it did not charge system before use, now I have a 30 minute battery life. Don't care to use more of my cell phone minutes on hold, so this was a live and learn moment. Never again from them.
The picture and sound are good, but it only has a digital automatic tuner. I was hoping for a manual tuner to get a station in and then tweak the antenna, not happening. The flash card works well, though a little slow to load.
Living in hurricane alley, I am needing the longer battery life. For the price I paid , I'll just bust into it and run an external battery adapter.
