Comment: This was a purchase for my 22 year old sons Birthday, he is just learning to play an electric guitar, so with the price as it was, this was the perfest gift.

Summary: good guitar, a little small
Comment: When I ordered this product I expected it to be a little bigger but it is fine. You had to install the tremolo (whammy bar) yourself was a little let down also the tremolo takes quite a bit of strength to work, I'm a big guy and it took nearly all my strength to get it to work the first few times. Also, there were no picks in the box which was a let down. The amp is pretty good quality and works great, you just may need a 3 to 2 prong converter but that's about normal for amps. Overall, it is a great guitar and a great price for such a name brand guitar like Dean, it's just a little small. A kid should have no problems with this.
