Summary: Great for the price
Comment: For the price range, they sound great, and it is extremely loud (I'm a performing musician, so I can handle VERY loud... While playing my 360, anything above about 15 is uncomfortably loud for me. TV is about 25-30 depending on the program, it defaults at 35, and I've never had any need to try and take it above there.
It's well made, and very solid (be advised, the Sub is rather large), and the DVD player works like a charm.
The one con: the fan on the receiver. When there is a signal present, it constantly spins up and down and is loud enough to be heard over the fans on the 360. For the non-gamers, that is a real feat.

Comment: This product has excellent sound, and video. It does require some reading of the manual to use certain features, such as the radio. I would purchase it again. For the price, I think it is a good value.

Comment: I bought this item as a Christmas present for my husband. We have used it 6 times and in the middle of watching a movie we paused the movie to greet a guest when we came back the unit had no power and no longer works. We don't even have a way to retrieve the CD inside. The system also does not work through your cable box so basically it is a stand alone system no surround when watching TV. Horrible directions and explaining this before purchase it took us several hours to get sound from our TV when not watching a DVD very disappointing since we had a receiver prior which worked with all components. When we contacted Coby we have had it over 3 months so they will do NOTHING for us. Not only is this a poor quality item but the manufacturer doesn't stand behind their product 3 months for a Home Theater System???

Comment: It sounds good for the money. It has alot of features which I don't know what half of them do. It can really crank out some volume & sounds good.

minus>> disc tray real thin like tin foil. also can not turn off or on with remote speaking of that have for tv and sattelite provider. it works from any direction a hundred feet away. This thing direct aim from 10 feet or less
