Summary: Looks great, price is a little high.
Comment: There are a lot of options for running wires and this is one of the most economical and attractive ways, as the wires run directly to where they need to go!
Other wall plates use fittings which cost much more for the plate, and requires the purchase of additional cables- a cable through the wall to the back of the plate, and another from the front of the plate to the component.
There are many uses for this wall plate but in my case, I moved my cable modem and wireless router from my in-home office to the basement below. I ran just 2 wires to my office from below using this wall plate, the phone wire and the ethernet cable. The tower of wires and equipment are now gone from my office for an excellent space saving look.
The plate should probably cost $1 but this was the best price I could find and shipping was included. What is $5 anyways?

Comment: I had searched all the local hardware stores for a wall plate to carry multiple wires and found nothing that pleased me. The Datacomm 45-0001-WH 1 did the job all with one plate and looks fantastic. I used it behind my wall mounted TV to funnel all the wires clean out of sight. I could not be more pleased. Thank You!

Summary: Perfect - exactly what I needed
Comment: I mounted a TV on the wall of my kitchen and was looking for an inexpensive way to hide the wires. This is ideal.
It's simple to install. You just need two of these and two low voltage brackets like this: Arlington LV1-1CS Single Gang Low Voltage Mounting Bracket Device You use a stud finder to make sure you're not looking to put this in a stud, and then use a drywall saw to cut the hole. Repeat to put the one down below. (Use a level to ensure they're straight.) Insert the low voltage mounting bracket in both the upper and lower and then put the plate on the upper one. Start fishing cables through the wall. (It's easier to leave the plate off the lower one until you fish all the wires out of the wall first.)
Through a one-gang plate, I have an HDMI cable, a VGA cable, a set of composite cables with sound, a 1/8" headphone jack cable, and a network cable. It's tight, but everything fits.
Order these plates. You won't be disappointed.

Comment: Works great. One could easily run a HDMI, speaker wire and TV power cord through this. Exactly what I was looking for for a clean wall mounted HDTV installation.

Comment: This product is of decent quality. It doesn't take paint well unless you lightly sand it first. Also, for mounting, it requires the special drywall bracket. It should be sold as a kit IMO.
