Smooth blending of the 3-3/4" long-excursion woofers, 5/8" poly dome tweeter, and 5/8" piezo super tweeter is the key to the outstanding performance. For a large format home theater setup, the CCS-33 can be used for each channel. The CCS-33 is voiced to provide a consistently matched sound when used together with the Dayton Audio satellite speakers, and they work great with Dayton Audio subwoofers. Summary: good sound excellent value
Comment: This is my first center channel speaker and I must say that it sounds good. I'm using monster cable speaker wire in place of the supplied thin wire. Voices come in clear and precise and it seems to be very well detailed. There's no need for me to ever upgrade from this speaker. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Comment: This is a great speaker. It sounds nice and clear and seems to be good quality. The only complaint I have is that it is all plastic, even the cover over the speakers. This doesn't really bother me because it is behind my television but I could see how it might bother someone who was mounting it on the wall or something because the rest of my speakers are wood with cloth covers over the speakers (doesn't really match.)

Comment: I have had this center speaker (mounted directly above my wall mounted 55" flat screen)and I am so glad I made this purchase. The sound is crisp and clear, even on the highest volume of my sony surround sound. The price was way below anything comparable!!!! Biggest bang for your buck!!
