Comment: I got this to use with a nyrius optical switch and both work well. No sound degradation, everything sounds fine. Works just as well as the 3 ft optical cable I paid like 30 dollars for at BB a while back.

Comment: 1. The cable is as described. It works great!
2. I do have a small issue with it fitting properly. The optical line appears to protrude too far from the fitting, causing it to need some jiggling in order for it to fit. Not a huge issue, but it's an issue nonetheless.

Comment: An inexpensive TOSLink cable that works. It is only 3 ft but that's all I need. Used to piggy back muultiple audio interfaces for low budget audio recording.

Comment: While these connectors do not have the thick insulation or sturdy feel of a Monster or NXG cable, they are certainly worth the price. Both cables I bought fasten as securely as the more expensive toslink cables I own, function just as well, and arrived just as shown in the photo, with dust caps.

Certainly not as thick. (My headphone's have thicker cables).
Connections aren't as high quality as shown in picture either.
Haven't tried the quality, yet. I don't have high expectations. But it was only $.02
